Ding, ding, ding a custom-sized hot pad for your baking dish!!! Tell me what I won!!! XD lol Hot pads are one of my favorite pieces to make when I want to try out a new quilt block or technique!
Hmmmm, I'm going to guess a casserole hot pad of some kind? Kerin at "Always Fixin' Never Sitting" just told me about your blog! So glad she did! I love what you have got going here!!
Are you starting a crochet rug? hot dish pad? Looks great! We are having a grand time in Yellowstone......tomorrow we leave and get back into the real world ;-( . I will love my shower but then I will be saying to Eric take me back to Yellowstone !!!!!!!!! While here I started a sweater top down and when I started the sleeves realized I made a huge mistake and frogged most of it....oh well good thing I love to knit ;0)
What are you baking up there??? I was also going to say a rug but I expect that casserole dish is somewhat of a clue. Could be a place mat or as most everyone else is guessing some thing to sit your hot casserole dish on when it comes out of the oven. Catching up with everyone tonight. Hope you are enjoying the end of summer!
I knit, garden, bake, and sew. I create something every day, even if it's just a mess in my kitchen.
“I don't want to drive up to the pearly gates in a shiny sports car, wearing beautifully, tailored clothes, my hair expertly coiffed, and with long, perfectly manicured fingernails. I want to drive up in a station wagon that has mud on the wheels from taking kids to scout camp. I want to be there with a smudge of peanut butter on my shirt from making sandwiches for a sick neighbors children. I want to be there with a little dirt under my fingernails from helping to weed someone's garden. I want to be there with children's sticky kisses on my cheeks and the tears of a friend on my shoulder. I want the Lord to know I was really here and that I really lived.” ― Marjorie Pay Hinckley
Hi Bonnie, I would guess it is a rug, but then it is in such light colors, I am not sure. You are always up to something good. Joni
