A few weekends ago we went to Lehman Caves in Great Basin National Park. They were amazing. If you are anywhere near them (I say that knowing that most of you aren't, because they are in the middle of nowhere) you should stop in. In fact, if you are near Las Vegas you might even want to make a trip just to see them. There is no hiking or incline. They are very child and older person friendly.
I also loved these old pioneer charcoal ovens on the side of the highway.

ReplyDeleteHi Bonnie! Fascinating! The ovens are beautiful, aren't they? What a great field trip!
ReplyDeleteCool! And no hiking? Wow.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos. We have seen huts like that when traveling in Europe.
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness, Bonnie, I will be in Vegas this week to visit my son and family! I am going to show them this. Even though they are moving this weekend, maybe we can work this in:)
