Each Thursday afternoon, I host a free weekly knit-along at the Wool Cabin. How great is that? It's supposed to be sort of like work. Except it's not (don't tell my employers that) because I get to knit
with these great ladies. They are: Sue, Cindi, Judy, Vicky, and Mary. We talk about all kinds of things, sometimes even knitting. They are a talented and fun group of women and it is a pleasure to get to socialize with them each week.
My friend and neighbor, Carolyn kindly blocked my cedar leaf shawlette.
It is a mini shawl but the yarn (which is merino wool and silk) is so drapey and soft that it can also be worn as a scarf. Thanks for modeling Abby (she's sensitive to wool so this was a real sacrifice for her).
If you live in the Salt Lake vicinity come and join us for the free social knitting at the Wool Cabin from 12-2 on Thursday afternoons.

That shawl/scarf is so pretty Bonnie! And, how about finding out your friend knits from her mother's blog! Way to go Erin is right! Those are adorable!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful scarf, I love the edge. The booties are darling.
ReplyDeleteThose booties made by Erin are so cute! Great job!
ReplyDeleteI love to knit and have not picked up my needles in a long time now.
ReplyDeleteDarling booties and the mini shawl is gorgeous!
I made that leaf scarf and love it. It was a great knit, I made 2 in fact. Will most likely make another.
