Winnings!

I had a lucky, and productive couple of days last month.  I won two giveaways just one day apart. 
First I was chosen by Random.org over at Si's blog, A Bountiful Kitchen, to receive not one but 4 great items just before Mother's Day.  I got to choose an apron (I chose Cherry Me!)courtesy of The Hip Hostess, and they had many more that were just as cute.  I also won two really great cookbooks from Si (I am particularly anxious to make something from the Magnolia bakery cookbook).  And last but not least, I got to chose a charm courtesy of the Pink Chandelier.  They do custom orders too.  Thanks Si.  This was an awesome giveaway.  I love all of these great prizes.  I regularly follow Si's blog.  Check it out, you'll love it.

The next day, I was chosen by Random.org to win the new Quesadillas book by Donna Kelly, whom I just happen to know (she also writes a fun blog called Fab Frugal Food with her daughter Anne and Everyday Southwest with her sister Sandy, both great blogs).  Of course this is just Donna's hobby.  She has a full time job as an attorney (I feel like such a slacker).  Look at the great colors and design on her latest book.  Who doesn't love Quesadillas?  It is so well written and I think this would be a great book to cook from with children.  Thanks Donna and congratulations on another wonderful book.
