I've been away longer than I planned on.
I've been teaching the Little Cotton Rabbits class again at The Wool Cabin; just in time for Easter. Here's the dress for the Dutch Bunny in the yellow and white striped tights. It's almost dry and then it will get a button and a seam up the back.
I made another little Lambie. She's slightly different than the last one and off to a new home soon.
I have made over 30 of these little stuffed toys. I think I
OMG .... so adorable!!! I really need to try these Little Cotton Rabbits patterns. I've been tempted many times, but shied away at the finishing. I can kick booty at the knitting/crocheting part ..... but all those fiddly pieces getting sewn together? You are a much more patient woman than me :-)
ReplyDeleteAll of your little animal friends are lovely, but I do think that the bunnies are my favourites! Another great job done Bonnie! xx
ReplyDeleteWhat adorable bunny pets you have! I saw these on Pinterest and before I saw the description I knew they were yours. They just make me smile, and I can see why you have an obsession! I remember when you said that you visited your daughter and hit little knitted mice around, and I thought that was so sweet and fun! Have you hidden any bunnies? Joni
ReplyDeleteAdorable, sweet, precious Little Cotton Rabbits . . .
ReplyDeleteLove, love your bunnies, but that little dress....oh my. Just makes me want to play dolls and bunnies on the floor.
ReplyDeleteHaha -- you are definitely obsessed! I need to start with the obsession too but other stuff keeps getting in the way. I did a double-take when I saw the little lambie -- almost had to check to see if maybe mine had run back home. I think she's homesick -- I need to make her some friends. And I love the cute new little dress -- is the birdy part of the dress pattern?
ReplyDeleteOMG, this is so darn cute. how sweet to do this. Perfect time to share them too.
ReplyDeleteOh, Bonnie! They are absolutely precious! I'm going to go dig through my yarn stash. I've been wanting to make a teddy.
ReplyDeleteThese are so sweet and just in time for Easter!
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness...these are simply amazing and sooo adorable!

They are gorgeous! I am sure they are difficult to make, but you are a PRO!!!
ReplyDeleteYou made these? Oh my, they are absolutely precious! You should be selling on etsy :>)
ReplyDeleteHi Kathleen, Thanks so much. I don't sell them on Etsy because they aren't my design. I purchased a pattern to make them. Julie Williams, the pattern designer, does sell them by lottery. She has asked that they not be mass produced and Etsy would definitely interfere with her market where she sells them on Etsy. Here is the link to her patterns and animals. http://www.etsy.com/listing/150967506/two-pattern-deal-little-cotton-rabbits?ref=sr_gallery_5&ga_search_query=little+cotton+rabbit&ga_ship_to=US&ga_ref=auto2&ga_explicit_scope=1&ga_search_type=handmade&ga_view_type=gallery
ReplyDeleteThanks everyone for all of the nice comments.
