The Season's begun

Tree trimming
 In progress.

And finished.  Someone (mwho we won't mention by name) thinks we have a few too many ornaments.  I don't think so. " The more the merrier" , I say.
Abby even wrapped some of our gifts.  It's nice to have them under the tree early.

When the girls are home for Thanksgiving, we start decorating the day after.  It helps to have all hands on deck.  (We have a lot of ornaments to unwrap).  And it's nice to enjoy the holiday for the whole month of December.  With the decorating done, I can concentrate on other things.

Have you started....or finished your decorating?
I still have a few small things to do.

  1. It's beautiful Bonnie! No decorating here yet -- maybe next weekend. And tell someone, one can never have too many ornaments LOL!

  2. I think that your tree has just the right amount of ornaments - I like a well covered tree!! Everything there is looking beautiful. I hope that you had a great thanksgiving. I have done a few little things, but it will be a couple more weeks before the tree is up I expect. I have done my front door planters and yesterday I started lighting my advent candles, so we are getting there slowly. xx Oh, love your new header photo too!

  3. Your tree is beautiful! I need some kind of a push to get in the Christmassy mood. All I want to do is sew and can't be bothered with decorations. It is suppose to start snowing and getting cold so that will be a big help in getting in the Christmas Spirit.

  5. Hi Bonnie,
You know, I think your tree is beautiful! Love all the ornaments on it; a feast for the eyes!

We are pretty much ready for Christmas. The nativity is up, the tree, and a few silver bells.
If I get to decorating the window, then I guess they will look sparkly and glow at night, if not.. no big deal.

    Stay warm, my friend.

  7. Beautiful tree and home! I have fewer ornaments than you, by far, and my son thinks we have too many. :)
