Turkey Day

This little knitted toy is perfect for the holidays.  He's only a few inches tall.
I knit him using a free pattern designed by Susan B. Anderson for Spud and Chloe yarn a few years ago. Here's the link if you wish to download the free PDF turkey pattern.
He's a great little October project.  You can finish him in plenty of time for the Holiday.
I think one day I'll make one of these for each place setting at a Children's Thanksgiving Table.

  1. He is a very handsome chap isn't he! Any child would be glad to have him adorning their place at the table I'm sure. Happy knitting xx

  4. Awww, he's very cute! We don't have a children's table yet. At the rate we're going, it will be awhile -- the kids are getting a dog instead LOL.

  5. Aw... that is beautiful! Good idea for place setting, except you will probably have to part with them at the end of the meal!

  6. I'd love to send them home as favors Denise. Wouldn't that be fun?
Anna, stick a squeker in it. Instant grandog toy/favor.
Thank you all for visiting and leaving me comments. They really make my day.
I've been away for a little over a week and it's so fun to come home to friends.
