A Busy Day

Cleaned the house from top to bottom; 4 bathrooms, 4 bedrooms, 2 family rooms, living room, dining room, and kitchen.  Mopped all floors.  I can't remember when the house was this clean all at once.

Cleaned out the refrigerator and side by side freezer in the basement.

Washed the car.

Shopped for groceries and new linens.

Washed 6 loads of laundry.

Made 2 pot roasts in the pressure cooker for the freezer.

Made one batch of soup for the freezer with extra beef leftover from the package purchased for the stuffed bell peppers.  Used lots of fresh garden vegetables and fresh herbs.

Made stuffed Peppers for dinner.  Put 4 away in the freezer for a busy day dinner.

Made 4 batches of homemade ice cream....peach and salted caramel.  Yummmm.

Made huckleberry honey Greek style yogurt.

Washed lots and lots of dishes.

Washed all pumpkins and squashes to get them ready to display.

Off to put my feet up.

  1. Busy day? That's an understatement!

  2. Wow! Way to go, Bonnie! Don't you love it when "cleaning and cooking" inspiration hits? I wish it would hit me!

  3. Oh my, I'm tired for you doing all that work. Thought I was busy yesterday but now I feel as if I lounged all day ;) It is a great feeling to be in a clean house. You can sit around all day today and eat cherry bombbons ;0)

  4. Are you not, oh so exhausted!? I wouldn't be able to string my words together. That is a PILE of housecleaning in one day, not to mention the PILE of other stuff you accomplished! Does feel good, though, doesn't it? Your peppers looked amazing!

  5. Wow - I wish I had your energy. Any interest in guest posting on Pressure Cooking Today?

  6. Wow, you've been a busy bee! Wanna come clean and cook at my house next?

  7. No Way! I can't remember the last time I did that much work -- maybe in my 30's??? VERY impressive -- I'll have some of what you're having, Please!!!!

  8. What! All in one day!? Can you save some of that ice cream for when I come home!? PLEASE!
