Crocheted hearts on a chain for my Valentine.
You can  find the heart pattern here.
Get that crochet hook out.  You've got 3 more days.

  1. Hi Bonnie,
I love that heart chain. So sweet!
You are the most creative gal :)

We're having a gorgeous day here in Spring City, and I can feel a hint of Spring in the air.

    Have a great weekend :)

  2. So cute! Sigh. I've done no Valentines decorating at all this year.

  4. That chain is too adorable! I wish I could crochet or that I lived near you and you could show me how. I just finished knitting Fidget a sweater and the last step was to crochet a chain and make a bow with it at the neckline. For now the neck is unadorned, but she doesn't seem to mind.

  7. These are too adorable! What a great project for beginners too! I love them both ways.

Bonnie, the 2D is a Wilton, it is a star drop flower. It is more closed on the end. The 1M is also Wilton and is an open star tip. You can google them to see what they look like. We had a class at RS and they used the 1M. They are really similar in the effect. My daughter used the 2D so that is what we used but I couldn't tell much difference. It really was super fast, the only thing is to remember to keep it refrigerated. She had made hers for later in the day and by the time she served it the bottom row was quite squashed as the frosting drooped a little. I didn't have that problem with keeping it refrigerated.
