Big Snow

Stick with this video clip for a bit.  It is a bit slow but once the sliding gets going it's incredible and creepy at the same time.  I hope no one was seriously injured.
This is what the storm did in our area yesterday.  Today there is a bit of sun but yesterday it was miserable.

  1. Thanks for the entertainment. I have lived through this 'stuff' and am so glad I no longer live where it snows. Sometimes it is just best to stay home!! I guess it is time for the tow trucks to make some money.

  2. That is horrible. Where do you live? Washington/Oregon? I imagine the photographer felt pretty helpless watching all of this happening before her eyes!

  3. YIKES! Scary!
Just when we get the icebergs broken and swishing their way down the street, it snows again. Oh well.
    Stay toasty!

  4. Hi Regina,

I live in Utah. This was the beginning of a very large snow yesterday. The video is amazing and awful at the same time. The young men who were taking it were so focused on the cars crashing into each other. My husband begged the question, "Why aren't they up the hill stopping cars from going down instead of videoing it".

  5. Whoa! I remember a similar winter pile up when we fist moved to NC from Michigan. I watched out my window as car after car spun out and crashed. I was amazed at the ineptitude of the drivers. At least we learned how to drive in snow and ice in Michigan and when not to do it. Glad no one was seriously injured. Hope your weather has improved.

  7. The video looked like ice hockey instead of driving. If there is snow on the ground, I don't drive.
