Last night I was cutting more strips for my rug. I cut into a scrap of fabric and was reminded of these. The scrap was the posy fabric in Ann's Dress.
I made 6 Raggedy Anns many years ago. One for each of my daughters, one for a niece, and one for a little girl in a family that we "subbed for Santa" . Abby wanted an Andy too, so she got him. They were so much fun to make and my girls loved them (so did I). In fact, Abby still has these two on her bed even though the pink "little Girl" bedding is long gone. She said I needed to show you their hearts.
I picked more raspberries this morning. The patch hadn't been picked for a few days, so I picked and picked and picked and picked...for 3 hours.
Abby and I are making tarts. Just as soon as I take a little break...and a shower.
Come back tomorrow and I'll save you tart.
Oh my gosh!!! Look at all those raspberries!

ReplyDeleteYour raspberries are beautiful. You brought back memories with those dolls. Not only did my daughter have some but I made the blanket on her bed to match her Annie.
