The Best Valentine I ever got

Today my post is not on Cookies or cakes or even Valentine Cards. It's a birthday tribute to our beautiful daughter.
.  She was born on Valentine's Day, which makes today her birthday.  Last night we celebrated all the February birthdays of my extended family members at my parent's home.
Grandma brought her old formal out of the cedar chest for the granddaughters to see and Erin was asked to model it.  I think my Mom had fun seeing it on Erin, even if this is not the photo Erin would like to be remembered for on her birthday. She looks spectacular in the dress, even in her ballet flats.

E, you are a talented and gifted writer, teacher, artist, and have grown to be an amazingly accomplished and wonderful woman.  We are blessed to have you in our family and we love you more than words can say.  Thank you for your example of faith, kindness, and unconditional love to your friends and your family.  The world is a better place because of you.

Happy Birthday Valentine.
