I love the holidays. I look forward to our Christmas Eve party with extended family. Carol singing, eating, the Book of Luke, and the next to the last Santa.
And my dessert contribution to the afore-mentioned party.
Did I mention that my birthday is also on Christmas Day? Well, it is. I look forward to Christmas but for the record, I do not look forward to being another year older.

ReplyDeleteOh, Bonnie, I'm a day late and more tha a dollar short. Inflation. :) I hope your birthday was better than best and you were surrounded with those you love, lots of laughter and a bounty of great food. You share a birthday with a very special person. Lucky you! Oh, I almost forgot to say, my brother was born on Christmas day. He was never too happy about it -- even when he got older.
ReplyDeleteI hope you and yours had a very merry Christmas!
Thanks for sharing your Dad's carvings. They are delightful and something that future generations will enjoy for hundreds and hundreds of years to come.
