Gardens and Funerals

We live in a beautiful place; just like a painting, don't you think?

After our vacation, we had some catching up to do.  Lots of yard work at both places.  Even after dead-heading there were still a lot of flowers blooming in the beds.

And although we are behind in the harvest because of the weather, there were a few cherry tomatoes and the promise of more beans and tomatoes to come soon.

A gentlemen in town passed away.  He had requested that there be an old-fashioned funeral procession to the cemetary after the memorial service.  His casket was carried in the large wagon and his family followed in Tennesee's, and Melissa and Craig's buggys.  It was a crisp, beautiful afternoon.
