Milk and Honey Cinnamon Raisin Bread

The milk and honey cinnamon raisin bread is the only dough I got around to making for this bread braid.  We had some ever changing travel dilemmas this month.  Did anyone else have to cancel travel plans because of the volcanic ash coming from the Icelandic volcano?  A volcano whose name that I can't spell or pronounce caused a lot of havoc.  Well, when the dust (or ash in this case) settled I only had time to make one bread and I'm glad I chose the cinnamon raisin. It was a favorite of my family from the book.
The only change I made to the original recipe (besides altitude adjustments), was to double the amount of raisins called for.  The amount seemed skimpy for a raisin bread.  Sprinkle some decorating sugar on the brioche and you have a slightly sweet treat.  I also added granulated and brown sugars and more cinnamon to the middle of the cinnamon rolls (of course) before shaping them.
Sweet enough, healthy enough, and a dough that is versatile.  There wasn't a crumb left of either incarnation.  Check out this post or this post for more detailed photos and instructions.  And if you have the time or inclination, click over to Michelle's blog (Big Black Dog) and see what the other members of HBinFive did this time.
