SNOW DAY!!!

It snowed here.  A LOT!
This was the view out the back french doors onto the patio this morning.  It has snowed and snowed all day and we are supposed to get more snow tonight and tomorrow.
My neighbors oak tree is just touching the grass next to our drive.  And you can see the sadly broken limbs on one of our pear trees out by the back fence.
There is a reason that I posted the socks in progress and the yarn at the top.  It's great weather for knitting.  And that's a good thing as I am sadly late in starting my Christmas gifts.

  1. What a pretty snow! I am hoping for lots of snow days this year. Last year we didn't have any :(

  2. Your snow is beautiful. We had flurries the other day, but nothing sticking. Yes, knitting is a great project when it is cold!

  3. Yipee! You got snow!!! Those socks look beautiful -- what pattern are you using? It looks complicated. I'm sadly late in starting gifts too -- I hope we can both recover!

  4. I have missed a few posts! Wow! It looks pretty--I'm guessing it was a bit of a heavy, wet snow with the way your tree was weighted down?

Bonnie, what I always LOVE are the photos at the top of your page. I love that sweet brick building. It's stunning! And...you always make the coolest stuff...like your infused vinegars!
